While it may not be healthy, some excess pounds do not seem to be deadly, says a recently published study in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The new findings suggest persons who are overweight are less likely than normal weight persons to die from several diseases such as: Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, liver disease, lung disease, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and from some unintentional injuries, suicides, as well as homicides...
