This week the National Library of Medicine welcomes the 23rd annual conference that celebrates research inspired by the late British psychologist, physicist, and advertising researcher William Stephenson.

If psychology, physics and ads seem to be an odd combination, it provides insights into Stephenson's scope as well as the widespread use of a research technique he invented called 'Q methodology.'
